Last Tuesday, I had the opportunity to go to Orchid Country Club to be a part of a sports exhibition. There were many sports personnel there. Some having represented the nation and others who are in it for business.
The booth next to mine was taken up by members of the Silat Sports Academy.
My interest is peaked! ;)
Nuff said.
Shall write more when I take up Malay, but that’s another story for another time.

Had dinner with Siya last night @ AMK Hub.

Congrat’s on finding joy with your job Siya! Not many new grads can say that they like their jobs…haha
We ate at Ichiban Sushi and then proceeded to go shopping…
That woman can really shop xia~
She win’s me hands down!
Haha… Hopefully the next time we meet up, I will have a proper salary and enough space to have a proper shopping adventure with her. Then again, even closet space would not stop me from having a good time with my friend! :D

Facilitators’ Briefing @ WWS.
It was held on a Sunday so had to miss out on church.
Managed do get a lot of things done, which is a great leap from the last time I conducted a briefing.
Much more organized and thought out compared to the last time.
Very pleased with the program.
I even had the opportunity to go Dragon Boating with my facilitators!
SO FUN!!!
Got soaked by the pedals at certain points but it was really interesting and eye-opening. Hopefully will get the chance to do it again…
Left the office super late that evening, due to the WWMD report. Haha~

Dinner with Yang Mui and Shi Min. Minus Diana, she reported sick.
Dinner at White Tangerine, didn’t manage to get down to playing Monopoly.
Next gathering scheduled for this week.

It’s amazing how time flies and things happen. Almost surreal in a sense, but still we are here and now living.

Finally stepped into the Ikea at Tampines.
That place makes me have flash backs to the shopping centers in Australia.
The suburban malls that are situated in the middle of nowhere and all you see are the traffic coming in and out of the building. There is the Courts Mega store and Giant located opposite the Ikea, but that’s beside the point. All the buildings are HUGE, in line with Singapore standards of course.
Had lunch with TKM and YKM there before starting out on the shopping spree.
My grilled Salmon is not what I remembered it to be, but it was still filling. The ladies ate Fish & Chips and a Chicken Leg respectively. Coffee seems to make them very happy… I wonder why…
Bought a whole ‘truck’ if things, those that did not make it in are a testament to my ability to get them not to spend money.
Wahahaha…

Day with Daddy comprised of visits to 2 hospitals, Vivocity and meals from Carls Junior.
Wanted to donate blood, but got rejected because the fever I had was within the 3 week window. Bleah~
Spent the rest of the afternoon walking around Vivocity after having a VERY filling lunch.
With all the things that have been going on at home and at work and what not I am very happy to spend the day with my Father. =]

WWS AGM was held last Saturday afternoon.
Went down in the morning for the bicycle patrol, but ended up teaching two of the SP students how to cycle. Success made the session feel less like a baby-sitting task.
Did admin stuff and briefed one of the SMU facilitators before heading out to buy late lunch and preparing for the AGM.
The AGM changes every year, with new faces and the amount of involvement I take in the program.
Uncle Edward gave Dodo, Shoon and I rides home.

Clean and Green Singapore Exhibition.
The newness of each year’s booths never fails to astound me.
A lot more schools took part this year and there were plenty of adorable kids running all over the place. I hope my presentation skills have improved.

Went to Bugis Junction with Parveen for dinner.
Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk and TALK!
Hahaha… hearing about her passion for her kids is really amazing, hat’s off to you!
Walked round the place and bought matching Ts!
Tried out food the V8, t’was good. Prices weren’t that bad either.
Can’t wait to see you again Sugar Babe!

18 days since the last post and I wonder how I manage to remember all the things that have been going on.
Harhar.

I refuse to fan the flames of my fury.
Rather than think about the disappointments, I would rather dwell on happiness.
Call that what you will, but I don’t think being angry for a long time is a good thing. Neither is putting the anger down into words.
Just have to eat lots of ice cream and get plenty of sleep or work it all out kicking targets to get over it I guess.

Between going out and doing work in the office, I officially ran out of cash on Thursday. That and I also got fumigated while I was in the office on Friday. I kid you not.

Have to save money big time.

Once again, I type in an entry more than a week since the last one.
Usually whack the keyboard on a Wednesday but I guess today’s special.
I’ve got a fever, bad throat, headaches, joint aches… yeap, I think I've fallen sick.
Came back from the doctor’s with 4 different types of medication.
Consequently, I had to swallow 9 pills., one of them being my ‘good friend’ Anuret. In a few minutes I will be swaying in front of the computer screen… let’s see how long I can last shall we?

Last Friday was my final session with the K2 kiddos.
2 of them came up to me and hugged my thighs when the class ended.
*sigh* How can I not love my kids?
So glad that I am not going to be teaching them next year though!
-evil laughter-

Saturday, getting rid of all the math final portions with my classes.
Got those accomplished and headed home for a poomsae session with Jared.
I revise at the same time, so I guess its good to have more of those sessions ya?
Need to work on my sidekick. It’s a real headache not getting it done right and I need it for koryo lor.. gah~
After the session, went for dinner with Shoon at Grapevine and a nice long walk to Serangoon Central for the Night Market. :)
First time I’ve been to such a long pasar malam. It was as if the stores had no end to their numbers.

Sunday morning’s service followed by my final two classes. Mad rush. Madness. I was in such a rush that I left my notebook and pencil box in church. What’s more, I made a blunder; of which I shall not talk about coz I wanna put it behind me. Big possibility that the more effort I put into something, the more messed up it will get…

Glad that it’s all over now.
Headed over to training in the rain and ended up with wet feet and pants right before the session started. No matter, I still had fun with my students.
Rushed home to unload before heading out for dinner with Jared and Alvin. We went to Grapevine! I promised to bring them there, and so I did :D
We played pool and even went walking all the way to Serangoon Central to see the Night market coz they had yet to go there. Walked home to kill all the calories.

Monday’s day was full of WWS and my first company dinner.
WWS administration matters as per usual.
Dinner at my bosses’ house.
The place is so huge that it looks like a palace, something out of Meteor Garden. I kept thinking the whole cast of Goong was going to show up with music et al.
-hysterical laughter-
Needless to say, the food was good. The Karaoke was fun too. Sisca’s my new Singapore Idol. Her along with Jovina!
-waves pompoms all over the place-
I did try my voice box at singing a song, but … ermm… I think I could done a whole lot better… hehe
-hides under the bed-
It was a memorable experience nonetheless.

Tuesday –
Went out with Aunites.
Namely: Auntie Sha, TKM and YKM.
Went to Singapore Swimming Club for lunch and then to the new place to bring up my books as well tune the television channels.
Packed in my comics but didn’t get the chance to pack the clothes in order… next trip!
Cell group that evening.
FINALLY after 3 months of being missing, I manage to go back to fellowship with my friends and sing praises to God at Ps Alan’s house.

Wednesday, tuition maths with Alvin, poomsae session and drinking session.
Dexter and the others managed to make it down. Almost full house this time. And I have new students! So exciting!
Congrats to QB on his awards!

I am seriously considering sidelining as a photographer, as soon as I have enough capital for a proper SLR and the other equipment. Hehe~
Got myself plastered with beer, walking home with a headache and throbbing fingers. My ‘high’ is not like the high of my friends. They get happy, I get headaches, and QB was saying that the more beer he drinks, the more awake he becomes. Inability to sleep follows his drinking. Interesting.

Thursday morning a bit of a hang over.
My alcohol tolerance level has seriously taken a beating.
Then again, it’s for the better. Drinking ain’t all its cut out to be anyway…
Went to WWS to do admin work. Most of my day and eyes got burnt out there.
Headed home with a fever and the startings of a bad throat.

Body went on mutiny this morning.
Hauled myself to the doctor. Literally.
No choice but to postpone my visit to Timbre as well as the admin duties at WWS today.
Getting sick is not fun, but it forces me to take a break. If not I would end up working myself into the ground.
Have to rest before I can be considered well enough to take part in the exhibitions for the weekend and the other things next week.

Clean and Green Singapore launch at Bishan Park 2.
Following that will be the exhibitions for schools at Suntec Expo.
Plenty of things to look forward to.
